I have spearmint in one of my flowerbeds. It’s grows out of control. I rip it out by the hand fulls, but it just keeps coming back. I love the stuff really. It smells so good. But if I let it…it will take over everything.
Great photo. Love the contrast of the water spigot and the “weeds”. I know what you mean – I had spearmint growing in a flowerbed once. It was planted by the former owner of the house. It really will take control if you let it, but it does smell wonderul!
I have the same problem in my yard with spearmint. The only way to get rid of it is to go to the roots rather than pulling it out. When pull it out, it sprouts suckers and gives out new plants….
As Alisa commented, I like the contrast on this too.
Mints tend to be that way if their environment is perfect for them. Great shot. I love the down close to the faucet.
