Most everyone has heard the runners expression “hitting the wall.” It’s a condition experienced during endurance sports when an athlete feel like they can’t go on. Well, if this 365 day challenge isn’t an endurance sport, I don’t know what is. Runners say that when they hit the wall, if they can just persevere and keep going, soon it passes and they get a renewed sense of well being and energy.
So what do you do on days when you just don’t feel like you can go on? Do it anyway. Take a picture, any picture, and post it.Who cares if it isn’t a work of art. The point is that you did the work to make it happen. Do that for as many days as it takes. Eventually you will make it past the wall with a renewed sense of energy and accomplishment.

Last night she and Rich Legg put on a mini clinic for Photowalking Utah people, where they showed best practices for photographing food. I learned a lot. Hey, we picked the same blog for today's link.
I felt I had “hit the wall” yesterday, after only 12 days. Then I found new inspiration by playing with post-production settings.
I like today's photo a lot, the dark tones, the repetitive texture and exaggerated perspective (<- I looked that up on the dictionary) make it very interesting and dramatic.
Ha! We are on the same wavelength with our posts today. Reading your post reassures me that I'm on the right track. Thanks for that!
well done i like the post production very much
LOVE the angel on this one. It makes you feel kind of trapped and confused. Nice editing too!
Is the wall pic in your header the same brick wall? Where is that one at the top located? I like it.
Thanks for the nice comments. Nope, this isn't the same wall as in the header. This one just happens to be outside at my work. I knew I wanted to take a photo of a brick wall, so I just went outside and work and started to shoot. You can see the original photo in the 365outakes gallery.
